About Carla

Although I grew up in Minnesota, I now consider the Pacific Northwest my home. I love it here in Clark County! It's so beautiful everywhere. Sometimes I'm in awe at all of the different flowers and plants I see.

In Minnesota, I attended the University of Minnesota to obtain my Bachelor of Arts degree in literature. I then taught middle and high school English for seven years. I also enjoyed coaching volleyball and basketball. In my free time, I managed to complete my Master's Degree. Then, my husband Dan was offered a position in Camas, Washington. As a chemical engineer, he was managing a plant that prepared chemicals for the paper industry.

So we moved to Washington! How did I end up a realtor ? Although I loved teaching, I had a blast looking for a new home! I realized that I would really enjoy helping people with this very important time in their lives. And I knew I would love running my own business. It's been truly a wonderful profession for me. As testament, my clients have become my friends.

Along with helping people find homes, I spend a great deal of my time with my family. My husband Dan now works on my team. He is an avid runner and biker. He loves golfing too! Most of the time we are enjoying our two boys, Elliot (2) and Charlie (1). Being a mom of two boys brings me great joy. There are lots of hugs and kisses each day.

We also have two dogs; our boxer is Riley and our pug is Butch. They are our steadfast companions. If I have an extra minute (not often!), I love reading and scrapbooking. All of us are passionate about the outdoors. We look forward to hiking with our boys as they grow older!
